A murder spree that Egyptian border patrol is on is not of any concern any officials in UN and AU. The latest victim - a Sudanese refugee from Darfur fleeing the region in search for a better life in Israel - shot in the head by the “brave” Egyptian police that is very quick on the trigger when they see an African refugee with a small plastic bag, but turn a blind eye on their fellow Arab weapon and drug smugglers.
Egyptian border guards have shot dead a Sudanese migrant who was trying to cross illegally into Israel, an Egyptian medical official said Wednesday.
Imad Kharboush, head of the Northern Sinai ambulance department, said that a 24-old Sudanese man from the war-torn Darfur region was shot with a bullet in the back of his head while trying to get across barbed wire on the Egypt-Israel border early Wednesday.
Kharboush said the man was among a group of four other Sudanese migrants. The other three were arrested, and two of them were slightly wounded in the incident.
Many African migrants seeking jobs try to cross illegally into Israel from Egypt
Dozens of African refugees falle victims to Egyptian police on the border with Israel. Citizens of Sudan (South and Darfur), Eritrea, Ivory Coast and other countries are being sniped by Egyptians, who give no account for their actions to anyone, let alone international organizations.
No human right activists, except for some small groups and individuals who volunteer to help these refugees in Israel, are concerned about or doing something to change the fate of our African neighbors who embark on the perilous journey from their homeland in search for refuge and a better life in the Jewish state.
