On Teddy Bear, Names And Muhammad

A 54-year-old mother of two, British teacher working in Sudan, Mrs. Gillian Gibbons, was convicted of blasphemy and insulting Islam, and sentenced by the Sudanese court to 15 days in jail and deportation from the country.

Mrs. Gibbons escaped a harsher punishment of 40 lashes, six months imprisonment and a fine after she allowed her six and seven-year-old pupils to give a teddy bear toy the name of the Muslim prophet, Muhammad.

So often we’ve witnessed the displays of Muslim’s outrage when their prophet or their values were allegedly insulted. The scenes of rallies staged by frenzied Muslims, burning flags and effigies, demanding death of the “blasphemers” and declaring a holy war on everything that is non-Muslim flooded our TV and computer screens.

This time was no exception – demonstrators in Khartum, the capital of Sudan, demanded the execution of the teacher.

If we look beyond the regular Muslim hysteria, we will again see a horrifying hypocrisy surrounding the behavior of so-called “radical” and “moderate” Muslims alike.

For the sake of the argument, let’s adopt their point of view and try to draw some parallels between what happened in Sudan and the events Muslims are responsible for. Let’s assume Muhammad was a great prophet, a great man.

The name Muhammad is extremely popular in the Muslim world; why wouldn’t it be…it’s after the “greatest Prophet who preached peace, tolerance and co-existence”.

Here are my questions to the Muslims:

How many of Muslim men, named Muhammad, are involved in terrorist attacks on Muslims and non- Muslims alike, and what should be done to them and those who named them after the Prophet?

Blowing oneself up in the middle of the market in Baghdad, killing scores of Muslim women and children is a complete opposite to what your Prophet taught you. While we, your opponents, are accused of xenophobia and racism every time we claim that killing people is in the core of Islamic doctrine, you repeatedly announce, mainly in English, that what the suicide bombers do is against the values of Islam. Usually your message in Arabic is different, but that’s for another argument.

If we follow your logic, shouldn’t the parents of these terrorists whom they named “Muhammad” be punished just like the British teacher was, since, according to you, killing is against the values of Islam? Shouldn’t there be mass rallies, burning the flags of the countries where these Muhammads originated from and kicking and jumping on the effigies of their parents?

But let’s leave terrorism aside for a moment, since we and Muslims have a different understanding of what terrorism is.

Let’s try this question:

How many men named “Muhammad” are sitting in European, American, Asian and African jails for theft, domestic murder (a.k.a”honor killings”), rape and other crimes that are not “terrorism” according to your standards? If you, the Muslims, try to be consistent, shouldn’t these men carry a tougher punishment for their deeds, since they bear a greater responsibility once they are named “Muhammad”?

Aren’t these crimes a much bigger insult to the name of the Prophet than a harmless, soulless and mindless toy and the naive British teacher could ever be?

Shouldn’t the parents of these criminals be punished (just like the British teacher was) for failing to explain their dear little Muhammads that their name symbolizes “the Greatest Prophet”, therefore they must excel in everything they do…or may be they do excel in what their Prophet was so good at (forgive my political incorrectness)?

Few things are certain:

Teddy Bear Muhammad will never rob, kill or rape anyone;

It will never occupy other people’s land and never twist history;

It will never call for jihad on “unbelievers”;

This Muhammad will never claim to be a great prophet and then “marry” a 9 year old child, or butcher those who refuse to recognize him as a leader and a prophet;

It will never think of strapping a bomb to its chest and walking into a crowd of women and children whose only “crime” is buying fruits and vegetables in the market and going to school.

Can you say the same about tens if not hundreds of thousands of real Muhammads and those who name them so?

Conspiracy Again?

The fear of Jews is so deeply rooted in the Muslim society that even the highest ranks of the Arab leadership cannot control that fear. The Algerian minister came up with this:

Mohamed Cherif Abbas, Algeria’s minister for veterans, was quoted Monday in the daily El Khabar as saying that Sarkozy was brought to power by a “Jewish lobby that has a monopoly on French industry.” Abbas also mentioned Sarkozy’s “roots,” an apparent reference to the French president’s maternal grandfather, who was Jewish.

And here is the typical French reaction

French Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Pascale Andreani responded Wednesday: “We are surprised about these remarks that appeared in the press, which do not correspond to the climate of confidence and cooperation in which we are preparing the president’s state visit.”

She remained upbeat about the visit, however, saying it would show that relations “have progressed in many sectors.”

Well, I guess when the Euroappeasers held talks with Hitler, they have also “progressed in many sectors”…and even brought “peace”, like this one in the picture

Reality Check For The Dirty Dwarf

Here is what the poisonous dwarf from Iran said earlier today:

Zionist Entity is doomed to ‘collapse’ and will not survive

And here is the reality check for this little bearded Pokemon

Mercosur poised to clinch historic trade deal with Israel, officials say

South America’s four-nation trading bloc Mercosur is poised to clinch an historic free trade pact with Israel, officials said Wednesday.

The deal, expected to be completed Thursday, would be the first free-trade agreement for Mercosur, a market of nearly 250 million people covering most of the South American continent.

“The idea is to finish all the details and wrap up the whole thing tomorrow (Thursday),” said Itzhak Levanon, Israel’s ambassador to international organizations in Geneva.

This is something Israel and Mercosur countries have been working for a few years. Looks like the timing of signing this agreement cannot be better. What a brilliant answer to Ahmadinafreak.

New Film - Exposing Quran

Conservative Dutch lawmaker is set to expose the lies of “Islam_is_ a_ religion_ of_ peace” in 10 minutes film.

It is encouraging to see that Europe has not ran out of brave people who exercise their democratic right for voicing the truth when needed.

Trouble brewing over anti-Qur’an film

A Dutch conservative lawmaker said on Wednesday he is making a film to highlight what he describes as “fascist” passages in the Qur’an, his latest high profile criticism of Islam.

The interior and justice ministers said they are concerned, but believe they have no authority to prevent the lawmaker, Geert Wilders, from screening his film.

Wilders plans to depict parts of the Qur’an he says are used as inspiration “by bad people to do bad things”.

Less than 10 minutes long, the film is expected to air in late January. It will show “the intolerant and fascist character of the Qur’an”, said Wilders, whose anti-Islam campaign helped his Freedom Party win nine seats in Parliament in last year’s election.

…Wilders said he is not afraid of reprisals if his film angers Muslims. “I have lived with 24-hour protection for three years,” he said. “I will make the film and see what reaction it creates.”

Dutch Muslim leaders did not immediately return calls seeking comment.

We’re looking forward to read/hear/see their comment. Although I have a pretty good idea of what it will sound and look like.

Responding to Hamas, No.2

I continue monitoring Hamas’ statements.

Apart from being utterly stupid, they also lack some basic knowledge of English. I wonder which online translator they use

The Islamic resistance movement Hamas expressed its deeply condemnation of Abbas word at Annapolis. The movement said that Abbas speech included an abusive sentences to the Palestinian history, to their struggle and to its leaders.

Islamic Hamas movement on Tuesday described the Palestinian statehood which U.S. President George W. Bush has called for creating as “vague and illusory.” Speaking at the opening of Annapolis conference, Bush said it was time for a new Palestinian statehood.

“Bush did not clarify the boundaries of the Palestinian statehood and did not set a timetable for its creation,” Salah Al-Bardaweel, a spokesman for Hamas lawmakers.
“Bush did not speak about the statehood’s form, nature and the refugees and he did not specify the capital either.”

Al-Bardaweel added Hamas understands from Bush’s speech that the Palestinian statehood will not be created since Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and his men did not apply the security plans that aim at protecting the Zionist entity.

Meanwhile, Al-Bardaweel criticized Abbas for going to Annapolis amid solid opposition by Hamas, the biggest Palestinian faction. “Abbas is not authorized to make decision on behalf of the Palestinian people

My response to it:

To Islamic water resisting and corrosion proof movement Hamas.

Firstly, Abbas speech was indeed abusing. He called Jerusalem being dividended between the Zionist Entitry and the brave glorificant and uncowardly Palestinian strugglers.

And I say to you, Jerusalem will never be given to the Palestinian strugglers. Nah nah nah nah naaah naahh…what can u do?

Secondary

Bush did not describe Palestinian falsehood…I mean, statehood. He did not set a time, but he set a table. The table was big and wooden one, with no alcohol on it but many many foods, especially pita and humus. Sorry there was no hamas. If you come, you try the humus. But since you didn’t came – no humus for homos…I mean, hamas.

Thirdently

I can tell you about refugees, form and capitalization of the future Palestinian falsehood…I mean, statehood.

It will be on land, refugees will get teddy bears from UNRWA and the form will be non-triangular. Circle form would also be good.

The capitalization will be in Ramallah. You can call it “Jerusalem”. Just like the bravious muslim strugglers called Constantinople “Istanbul”. Fair no?

Christian Clerics Apologies to Muslims

I’m Jew.

I have no right telling Christian, Buddhist, or Hindu religious leaders what to do, whom to talk to and how to act. But what I do have is the right to ask the 300 Christian clerics a question:

Where is your dignity and pride?

Christian clerics respond to Muslim hand of peace

Abu Dhabi: More than 300 Christian clergymen signed a letter, apologising to Muslims for Crusades and the consequences of the war on terror, which resulted in human and faith damages.

In a letter titled ‘Loving God and Neighbour Together’, the Christian clerics replied to an earlier letter from 138 Muslim scholars titled ‘A common Word Between Us and You’.

Oh, I have another question, if I may:

Did Muslims apologize for the crimes committed against Christians?

Full text of the 300 Dhimmis letter here. It’s disgusting.

Egypt - Another Editor Goes to Jail

Egypt is considered to be one of the moderate Arab Muslim countries, although it is known for jailing bloggers and journalists for criticizing its president, Mubarak.

Here is how this country displays its liberal and progressive nature:

Egyptian editor gets jail term over ‘indecent’ photo

Cairo: A newspaper editor in Egypt was sentenced has been sentenced to a year in jail for publishing a front-page “indecent” photograph of an Egyptian actress, court sources said.

Editor Hatem Mamdouh Mahran was also fined 20,000 Egyptian pounds ($3,600) and granted bail of 5,000 pounds. He said he would appeal the sentence.

The sources said Mahran’s Al Naba weekly newspaper had published a picture in January of actress Hala Sidky that prosecutors said “reveals a sensitive part” of her body.

Mahran said that the picture of the actress was a shot taken from her recent film and that the newspaper had neither taken the picture nor altered it.
